We Got You Covered: "Love Will Tear Us Apart"

It's good to see that a band taking a photo in a field is always relevant.

Anyway, in case you haven't already heard, Broken Social Scene (or at least 4 members on film) is covering Joy Division's "Love Will Tear Us Apart" in the movie The Time Traveler's Wife.

During the wedding scene.

Yeah...I don't think I'd want that song playing at my wedding, but I'll work with it.

"Love Will Tear Us Apart" has been covered many (many) times, but never like this, exactly. When you think Broken Social Scene covering Joy Division's "Love Will Tear Us Apart," you probably imagine something hazy and beautiful and waltz-y and tortured. And that's exactly what the revamp sounds like.
